ලෝක සාහිත්‍යයේ නව ප්‍රවණතා සිංහල සාහිත්‍ය සමාජයට හඳුන්වා දීම සහ සිංහල සාහිත්‍යයේ ඉදිරිගාමී නිර්මා මුද්‍රණයෙන් ප්‍රකාශයට පත්කිරීම සිය ප්‍රමුඛ ප්‍රකාශන අධ්‍යාශය බවට පත්කරගෙන ඇරඹි විදර්ශන ප්‍රකාශන ආයතනය අද වන විට තම ප්‍රකාශන වපසරිය පුළුල් කරමින් විවිධ විෂයයික කෘතිද ඉහළම ප්‍රමිතියකින් යුතුව ප්‍රකාශනයට පත් කරයි.

ලාංකේය සාහිත්‍යයේ අනාගත අභිවෘද්ධිය හා එහි දියුණුව අපේක්ෂා කරමින් 2024 වසරේ සිට විදර්ශන ප්‍රකාශන ආයතනයේ ප්‍රමුඛ සංවිධානයෙන් ඇරඹෙන විදර්ශන සාහිත්‍ය ත්‍යාගය' එම ආයතනය වසර කිහිපයක් පුරා කළ දීර්ඝ සැලසුමක ප්‍රතිඵලයකි.

විදර්ශන සාහිත්‍ය ත්‍යාගය සඳහා විදර්ශන ප්‍රකාශන ආයතනයේ දායකත්වය වන්නේ එය සංවිධානය කිරීම, මූල්‍ය සම්පාදනය හා ප්‍රචාරක කටයුතු මෙහෙය වීම පමණි.

Maintaining high publication standards, Vidarshana began its journey by introducing the Sinhala readership to global literary trends and sees its mission as enabling the publication of progressive and avant-garde work in Sinhala literature. Today, Vidarshana has expanded its publishing portfolio to include titles on a diverse range of topics, including academic research publications - an area that is particularly underserved in Sinhala publishing.

The outcome of several years of planning, the Vidarshana Literary Prize, offered for the first time in 2024, aims to nurture the future growth of Sri Lankan publishing.

Vidarshana Publishers' involvement in the Vidarshana Literary Prize is limited to organizing, financing and publicizing of the literary prize.
